Ladybug Donuts

I have seen the fluffy red faux fur with black spots for a while now. But only recently did it think about trying something out with it. I have made a Suki Ladybug before, but it was with teddy bear fleece and I sewed on the black spots myself. I had not yet tried making a Ladybug donut before, so here is what they look like :)

Until I have exhausted all possibilities for donuts expect to see more variations!

Happy Valentines Day!

I made love meatballs and linguine for our valentines dinner! :)

Every meatball was carefully shaped into a love heart. In total, the whole meal took me 2.5 hours to cook! A lot of love went into this :) And after frying them, some were unrecognisable as hearts!

 Before all the hard work of making love meatballs, I made a new cat donut for an order.

Just trying out something new. I have taken my pattern that I have used for my sheep, ladybug and pig and tried making a snow leopard. The shape works nicely, but face needs something more, I think. It needs to look a bit more cat-like.

Francesco and Naomi found this design a bit confusing.

I will try making another face to see if I can improve it. Also, I have a cheetah and leopard in the making. Wondering how they will turn out.

Suki Love Drops

Love Drop Plush

This is my very first Love Drop. She was made back in 2007, while I was still living in Amsterdam. A cute, fluffy drop of love!

So here is a much smaller version of the Love Drop, as a keyring.

Cookies and Cream Earmuffs

 

From the first moment I made the cookies, I have wanted to make them into earmuffs. But I never got around to doing it, till now. And they work great as earmuffs! They are even adjustable. :)

 Today, the light was perfect for a photoshoot. My little sister, Naomi, was happy to model for me.

Baby Sasquatches

Last week I was busy making these furry little ones. Yesterday, I listed them up on Etsy, one boy and 4 little girls. They were snapped up right away!

 Today I packed them all up and sent them off to their new homes.

 As soon as I find more brown fabric, more red Sasquatches will be made. I do not like choosing favourites, but I think he might be my favourite.
