These Lupis are too cute for choosing just one...Im loving the midnight pansy perhaps with a yellow backing and called ''milly" (courtesy of my Miss 4 that calls everything Milly) and I adore the green primrose with green backing, she would be right at home on my chair in my studio in the trees, think I'd have to name her Mooshka because I like saying that name out aloud !

Although I do also have a soft spot for the summer stripes lupi, he seems so shy, and just has so much character, I think I would name him.... Reggie (short for Reginald) Both would look fab with a brown backing:)

I would definitely choose Midnight & Moonlight Pansy, and would name them Oli & Allie. If not those two, I would choose Red Primose and name it Lupin (like Lupin the 3rd), or Green Primose and name it Kensi. And if not those, I would most definitely get the Pink Blossom Swirl and name it Little Indie. :D

I was so hard to choose just one. XD

    1. Oh wow!! you have names for almost all of them! And they are all great! I especially like Little Indie :)

  27. Most of them are in flowers. I guess it would seem as the Summer and Spring Striped Lupis are the unique ones. And, since I'm not great at naming, Summer Striped Lupi - Sunny and Spring Striped Lupi - Bloom or Blush. Yeah, they're not so unique though (the names, that is).

  28. Ooooh, I would choose Purple Blossom Swirl with a brown backing, and it would be called Blob. I have no idea why.

I would choose the yellow flowers with yellow background.
They remind me of summer flowers and I'd call her Mimosa.
It's the name of an early summer yellow flowering tree and in Portuguese the word means sweet, caressing and affectionate.

I'd name her Marzipan and we'd be the best of friends!
I would take her on bike rides and have her sit in my basket for the world to see. I'd buy a dress to match her and we'd do photo shoots and giggle together! Well, at least that's how I imagine Marzipan and I.

  37. Hi Marianna,

I hope you are well! Congratulations on hitting 1000 fans! It is very much deserved and here's to the next 1000!!!

What an impossible task to pick a favorite Lupi as you could easily love each one for so many reasons! However, I would choose the red primrose for it's vibrant cherry red burst of color against the freshest white background. I would name her Sakura which is Japanese for cherry blossom because she's delicate and feminine and beautiful yet she would watch over you with her protective and knowing, glorious 'eye'..She would be granted full fun of the house, be taken for rides in the car, keep me company while I work, laugh at my jokes when they're funny and roll her 'eye' in amazement when I tell her what my boss has done now. She will be fully loved and appreciated and when she tells me that she's missing her best friend, green primrose, well the only thing to do is bring the tropical sidekick home so they can be together again.

Your work is outstanding, I'm proud to be an owner of my Suki Suki flowers. They make me smile and I loved them so much I had to keep them for myself! I couldn't gift this set, I didn't have it in me!

Cheers and all the best to you!

If I were to win your giveaway (fingers crossed) I would choose Spring Stripes since it matches the nursery for our baby-on-the way! Our theme is jungle animals and since it kinda looks like a giraffe I would name him Melman! (from Madagascar!)

  42. What a wonderful blog - i have fallen in love with your work. The Lupi's are creative, quirky and most importantly fun. I can just picture Pink Blossom Swirl (with a lovely bright red back) nestled in our comfy reading corner at school. All my children would just love her and would enjoy reading thier story books to her!! As for a name I perhaps would suggest Murphy (named after one of my favourite childrens authors) however it would only be fair if my class suggested thier own ideas and put it to a vote!!! Well done on your 1000 fans and keep up the lovely work :)
