Cookies and Cream Earmuffs

From the first moment I made the cookies, I have wanted to make them into earmuffs. But I never got around to doing it, till now. And they work great as earmuffs! They are even adjustable. :)

Today, the light was perfect for a photoshoot. My little sister, Naomi, was happy to model for me.

And what a wonderful job she has done to make them look fun as well as fashionable! :)

Baby Sasquatches

Baby Suki Sasquatches

Last week I was busy making these furry little ones. Yesterday, I listed them up on Etsy, one boy and 4 little girls. They were snapped up right away!

Today I packed them all up and sent them off to their new homes.

As soon as I find more brown fabric, more red Sasquatches will be made. I do not like choosing favourites, but I think he might be my favourite.

Here is the little boy Sasquatch with his nappy ready for his journey to his new home.

I put nappies on them just for taking photos, but everyone liked them so much I had to include them too! :)

A new batch of babies will be coming soon...

My oak table

Last week, Lucio, the cousin of Francesco's Uncle, finished making the table for my studio!

It was very exciting to photos of the table, for the very first time.

Here it is, still in Italy. It is 3 meters long! I have no idea how we are going to get it in the house...

All that needs to be done, is a coat of transparent paint. We decided it would be nicer to keep its natural colour.

The best thing about this table is that the wood is make out of an oak tree that belongs to Francesco's parents. It was an old tree that they cut down over a year ago and has been cut and dried out especially for us.

Here are our fathers discussing what we will do with all this beautiful wood.

We will be using it also for our kitchen and our stairs. And also another table for my studio.

I cannot believe it has been over a year since we got the keys to our new house and we still have not moved it...

I am predicting we will be able to move in January - if all goes well!
